It's March. It's time to start training for races. It's March. It's time to get out there and hit the roads. It's March. It feels like January! I am so ready to begin the spring/summer/fall running experience! Will Spring ever come?
I'm registered for the BIG race. It's not until July, but starting in March helps me to reach my goals. I like to start out small with only a couple miles of running/walking and go from there. Since the weather has not cooperated, I haven't gotten outside yet. I am still hitting the elliptical for 45 minutes a day, but it isn't the same. My plans are to start running as soon as the ice leaves the roads. I like to start my day early (5:30 a.m.) and do a two mile walk. Then after lifting weights and doing a session on the elliptical, I get out for my run. Later in the day I do a couple more two mile walks and some cardio sessions in the evening. I have plans. Now, I need good weather.
It is getting warmer. It is staying light longer. Spring is coming. It will be time to soon get out and hit the roads. I am so ready for that Peachtree Road Race in July!
I like the rhythm of your slice which you create by repeating beginnings and whole phrases. It builds momentum that really works with your topic- running and preparing for a race. Good luck.
